What's New...
We've added new content and commentary to our site, in order
to address the budget crisis facing our city. Please take a look
around and let us know what you think.
What do YOU think the City can cut from its budget? Should
police and fire face budget and staffing cuts in favor of keeping
flowerpots and twinkle lights in Heart of the City? Where do
YOU see waste that can be cut? What services do you see as
required and should not be affected by budget cuts?
What do you think of the professionalism of our City Council.
You can watch council meetings online via a link to the City's
website, here, and city council worksession via this link. At
approximately the 27 minute mark of the March 17, 2008 council
meeting, you can hear Councilmember Gustafson swear while
addressing his fellow council members.

Click here to send us an email and join our email list! We don't
inundate your inbox with unnecessary emails, but send out
notes occasionally when an important or controversial issue is
before the City Council. Sending notes electronically helps
keep the cost of operating our site down, and it helps keep you
informed of information that might not necessarily be on your
radar.
Information about PositiveChangeForBurnsville
We've changed our name, our focus, and in the process, redoubled
our efforts to become involved in the process to make Burnsville
better!
You may have previously visited our predecessor organization at
www.noperformingartscenter.com. Through our efforts to keep the
proposed Burnsville Performing Arts Center a privately run entity, our
eyes were opened to other areas of concern in Burnsville. As a
result, we've expanded our horizons to address these concerns. We
hope you like our new site and will join us in achieving our new
purpose: Working together to make Burnsville better. Our core
group of members have lived in Burnsville a collective 324+ years!
We Love Burnsville. We want to make it better.
Check out the tabs to the left of this text for the various topics we've
addressed, and contact us if there is an area you'd like us to explore
on this site.
Want to write a letter to the editor, but have more to say than can fit
in 200 words or less? Go to the "Contact Us" page or send us an

"cross" City leaders)? Let us know. We'll do what we can to find an
answer for you!
